唾液腺疾患のいろいろ その8—Xerostomia（第3報）—その診断特に検査法

　I．まえがき

　唾液分泌はいろいろの原因で減少するものであるが，これが一過性でなく且つ他の重大な疾患の一分症ではない時，これを口内乾燥症Xerostomiaと称している。われわれは先にその分類^1），症状と類似疾患との関連について^2）記した。ここにその診断，特に臨床的に応用しうる程度の簡便さを考慮した検査法について述べてみたい。というのはXerostomiaの検査法については報告が少く，僅かにSeeger^3）が唾液の性状，当教室の勝田^4），青木^5）が唾液の物理化学的性状を，奧田，中野^6）が唾液腺機能検査成績を発表しているにすぎないからであり，又従来いわれているように本症は稀なものではなく，その診断が紛わしい点が少くないからである。

　The diagnosis of xerostomia which may be glandular, nervous or reflexive in origin might be appropriately differenciated by general physical examination and functional tests of the salivary gland. The latter consist of the measurement of salivary secretion withthe patient at rest, sialography and clearance test. The results of these tests are carefully considered with the general physical state of the patient.
