網膜色素変性の臨床生化学ならびに血清学的検査成績について

Biochemical and Serological Studies on Retinitis Pigmentosa.

I．緒言

　網膜色素変性の臨床生化学および血清学的研究は，Campbell^1），Givner^2），Gemolotto^3），Levy-Wolf^4），神鳥^5），青木^6），水野^7），坂上^{8）9）10）}，亀井^11）等多くの研究者によつて行なわれ，本症の病因解析の一助となつている。

　著者等は同様に病因解析の目的で出来るだけ多くの症例から得た資料に就いて臨床検査を行い，その結果に就いて統計的考察を行つたので本報に報告する。

Results of chemical and serological analyses of blood, and tests of the function of the liver, kidney and the thyroid were reported in 118 cases of retinitis pigmentosa.

The results were as follows ;

1) The mean value of β-glucronidase activ-ity of serum in 37 cases were 1370 units, but 14 cases showed supernormal values.

2) The mean value of GOT and GPT of ser-um in 57 subjects of retinitis pigmentosa were 21.6 units and 13.6 units respectively, but 4 cases Showed high values.

3) The mean value of alkaline phosphatase of serum in 60 patients with retinitis pigmentosa was 2.6 units, but 14 cases showed high values.
