著者らは網膜色素変性の患者について種々の内分泌検査を行ない，次の結果を得たので報告する。
1) Determination of MSH-like substance acti-vity in urine
mean of 52 cases 25.1% in retinitis pigmen-tosa
mean of 26 cases 41.1% in normal
2) X-ray examination of sella turcicasusp. of pituitary tumor 5/50 (10%)
3) Metopiron test hyporeactive 6/15 (40%)
4) Mecholyl test sympathetic hyperreactor 3/35 ( 8%)
intermediate group 17/35 (49%)
sympathetic hyporeactor 15/35 (43%)
5) Determination of 17 KS & 17 OHCS in urine mean of 17 KS
12.9±4. 4mg/day 10.4±3. 9mg/day
mean of 17 OHCS
8. 1±3. 2mg/day 8.6±4. 2mg/day
with H. H. group without H. H. group
6) I uptake in thyroid gland
subnormal 5/48 (10.4%)
supernormal 1/48 ( 2 %)
