I．緒言

　従来から，私達は網膜色素変性症に対して臨床的にいかなる治療法が有効であるかを実験的に予測し，その成果を臨床的に応用したいと願い，その実験手段として視紅再生実験を採用してきた。その根拠は，本症はその病因の如何を問わず，本症成立の最小限の条件は視紅再生障碍と考えられるからである^1）。

　そこで，今回は，カタリンを基として，これに種々の薬物を併用した場合の視紅再生能を検討し，本症の治療に資するところがありたいとしたので，その結果，さらにはその臨床的使用例について報告する。

A radical treatment of retinitis pigmentosa has not been fcund since its etiology is not known so far. In our country, however, Cata-lin injection seems to be widely used for the treatment of this disease.

In order to elevate the efficacy of Catalin, some combination treatment with Catalin wasthen intended. Fi rst of all, experiments on the regeneration of visual purple were perfor-med to foresee the effect of the combination treatment. The method of the experiment was Kimura's one on the frogs.
