術前血管塞栓が有効であった外耳道solitary fibrous tumorの1例

A case of solitary fibrous tumor in the external auditory canal

はじめに

　孤立性線維性腫瘍（solitary fibrous tumor：SFT）は間葉系腫瘍であり，多くは胸膜を由来とし発生する。胸膜外ではあらゆる部位で発生の報告があり，頭頸部領域においても報告が散見される。今回，われわれは外耳道に発生したSFTに対して術前血管塞栓をし，大量出血することなく，腫瘍を経外耳道的に摘出しえた症例を経験したので報告する。

　Solitary fibrous tumor is a mesenchymal neoplasm and occurs most frequently in the pleura. Recently some reports have mentioned that solitary fibrous tumors occur in the extrapleural sites, including head and neck regions. Solitary fibrous tumor arising in the external auditory canal is extremely rare and has been reported in only 4 cases in the past. Solitary fibrous tumor exhibits intense enhancement by dynamic CT or MR imaging, suggesting that it has high blood flow. We reported a case of solitary fibrous tumor in the external auditory canal extirpated without much bleeding, after embolization of tumor-feeding vessels.
