孤立性線維性腫瘍（solitary fibrous tumor：SFT）は胸膜由来の新生物全体の5％以下を占める疾患である^1）。典型的には胸膜から発生し，肺実質内からの発生はまれである。今回，我々は肺実質内に発生したSFTの1例を経験したため，文献的考察を加えて報告する。

Solitary fibrous tumors（SFT）are mesenchymal tumors that originate primarily from the pleura. It typically arises from the pleura, and although it is rare for it to arise from a location other than the pleura, it has been reported to occur in any organ, and there have been case reports of SFT arising from within the lung parenchyma. In this article, we experienced a case of SFT arising in the lung parenchyma at a site distant from the pleura. SFT should be considered when a substantial mass originating within the lung parenchyma is found.
