I．はじめに

　胸腺嚢腫に関する報告はしばしばみられるが，その大部分は縦隔に発生したものであり，頸部に発生した胸腺嚢腫の報告はきわめて稀である。最近われわれは頸部胸線嚢腫の2例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　Cervical thymic cysts are rare. Two cases of cervical thymic cyst in a 51-year-old female and a 60-year-old female were reported. The symptom was only a swelling of the anterior neck. It was found that scintigram, echogram and CT were the useful examinations, though the preoperative diagnosis of the cyst was very difficult. It is important that the possibility of the thymic remnants in the neck should be kept in mind for diagnosis.
