I．緒言
最近筆者らは，鼻閉を主訴とし，慢性副鼻腔炎の診断の下に手術を行い，病理組織検査の結果，極めて稀な上顎洞結核であった症例を経験したので，報告する。
Paranasal tuberculosis is a rare disease, and only 18 cases have been reported in the Japanese literature. A 17-year-old boy visited our hospital with acomplaint of nasal obstruction on the right side.Rhinoscopic and x-ray examination showed chronic sinusitis. Caldwell-Luc operation and ethmoidectomy were performed. Mucous membrane of the maxillary sinus was thickencd,fibrous and showedirregular surface. Histological examination of the lesion revealed extensive caseous necrosis with Langhans giant cells, cpithelioidcellsandlym…phocyticlnfiltration,and these findings were mostcompatible with tuberculosis.
The details of this case were described and the literature of tuberculosis of the paranasal sinus was reviewed.
