I．はじめに

　日常診療において上顎洞内異物症例は比較的稀である。しかし近年，歯科材料を中心とした医原性異物の報告が散見される^1～5）。

　今回われわれは，歯科材料による上顎洞内異物の症例を経験したので報告する。

A 69-year-old man presented with nasal obstruction and low grade fever. Computed tomography demonstrated soft tissue density and artifact due to metal in his left maxillary sinus. We removed the foreign body by opening the anterior wall of the maxillary sinus. The foreign body was metallic body,which was a part of dental implant. We thought that the foreign body was accidentally inserted into the maxillary sinus during dental treatment.
