　I．緒言

　歯性上顎洞炎に於ける原因歯の抜歯後，往々にして上顎洞に通ずる瘻孔を生じ，或は歯根膿瘍，嚢腫等の場合抜歯後の処置が適当でなかつた場合二次的に歯性上顎洞炎を招来し，且瘻孔が長期にわたり閉鎖せず膿の排出が停止せぬことは往々経験される事である。茲に発表せんとする3症例は共に歯性上顎洞炎の際に生じた上顎洞歯槽瘻孔であるが，いずれも故笹木実教授の考案された上顎洞対孔粘膜弁利用による閉鎖法を行う事により，短期間に完全に治癒せしめたものである。我々はこの笹木法の長所を充分に体験したので，ここに報告すると共に諸賢の御追試を得たいと思う。

Sasaki's method of closing antro-dental fi-stula is described. The first step in this procedure comprises of performing a radical antrum operation. The second step is the construction of naso-antral fenestra but the nasal mucous membrane at this point is pre-served in such a way that it will not only serve as the lining of the floor of this win-dow but, also, the cover-over of the fistula which is well denuded beforehand. Other than this procedure no other measure is necessary for the successful closure of the fistula.
