頬部瘻孔を伴つた上顎洞異物（木片）の1症例

A FOREIGN BODY OF THE MAXILLARY SINUS WITH FACIAL FISTULA

Ⅰ．緒言

　副鼻腔の異物はその局所解剖学的関係上鼻腔のそれに比してまれである。また副鼻腔異物の中でも外部より外傷によつて侵入せる銃弾によるものが大部分であり，木片などの植物性異物によるものは比較的まれである。最近われわれは頬部瘻孔を伴つた木片異物による上顎洞蓄膿症の1治験例を経験したのでここに先進諸家の症例に追加報告する。

　A man, aged 59, complained of facial fistulaof the left cheek, close to the nasal ala, and a profuse nasal discharge on the same side, both of bad odor. About 7 months ago when the patient tumbled down to the ground a piece of wood stuck him on the left cheek, resulting in a facial wound. This wound healed but left a fistula. With the diagnosis of left maxillary sinusitis the patient was operated. A piece of wood measuring 2.3×1.3×0.9cm was found in the sinus cavity; the facial fistula was extirpated. The patient recovered uneventfully.
