　内頸動脈閉塞症の8例8眼を，インドシアニングリーン（ICG）蛍光眼底造影で検索した。腕-脈絡膜循環時間は15〜29秒，脈絡膜内循環時間は12〜50秒以上で，両時間とも全例で遅延していた。周辺部造影を行った3眼では，短後毛様動脈の周辺部分水嶺への到達が遅れ，1眼では無造影領域が造影後期まで持続し，周辺部脈絡膜の血流途絶と解釈された。脈絡毛細管板の虫食い状の造影欠損が7眼に，造影開始から10分以上の後期に脈絡膜静脈の色素染が2眼にあった。内頸動脈閉塞症では，脈絡膜に循環遅延と血管閉塞などが好発することを示す所見である。

Indocyanine green (ICG) angiography was performed in 8 eyes of 8 patients with carotid artery occlusion. The arm-to-choroid circulation time ranged from 15 to 29 seconds. Intrachoroidal circulation time ranged from 12 to over 50 seconds. Both values were grossly prolonged than in normal eyes. Peripheral ICG angiography in 3 eyes showed delayed dye filling of watershed zone in 2 eyes and persistent nonperfusion in 1 eye via short posterior ciliary arteries. Seven eyes showed patchy areas of filling defect of the choriocapillaris. Two eyes showed dye staining of choroidal veins in the late phase of angiography. The findings show that carotid artery occlusion may result in retarded circulation or vascular occlusion in the choroid.
