A 49-year-old man presented with central scotoma in his left eye since 5months before. He had horizontal nystagmus and high myopia. He was diagnosed with oculocutaneous albinism. His left eye had posterior staphyloma and subfoveal neovascularization of one disc diameter with hemorrhage. Fluorescein angiography showed findings of classical choroidal neovascularization(CNV)and false hypofluorescence of retinal and choroidal vessels. Indocyanine green angiography showed hyperfluorescence characteristic for classical CNV and normal intensity of fluorescence of retinal and choroidal vessels. The CNV started to regress during the following 12months,when rhegmatogenous retinal detachment developed necessitating surgery. CNV enlarged followed by hemorrhage another 3months later. CNV in the present case appeared to be secondary to high myopia.
