Abstract 文献概要

　周辺部網脈絡膜炎として発症した眼トキソカラ症4例4眼に対して，病巣部の瘢痕治癒を目的とし，経強膜冷凍凝固を行った。3例は病巣の瘢痕化，牽引性網膜剥離の除去，眼内炎症の鎮静化を得ることができた（経過観察期間5〜19か月）。1例は牽引性剥離が増強し，硝子体手術を要した。本法は眼トキソカラ症に対する有効な治療法になり得ると思われた。

We treated 4 eyes of ocular toxocariasis with transscleral cryoretinopexy. All the cases belonged to the type of peripheral inflammatory mass or peripheral chorioretinitis. Cryotherapy was appliedto cause direct and complete coagulation of the granulomatous lesion. During the follow-up rang-ing from 5 to 19 months, one eye needed pars plana vitrectomy to cure traction retinal detachment and to remove vitreous opacity. The clinical course was favorabe in the other 3 eyes as the inflammation and retinal detachment gradually healed without complications. The findings point to the usefulness of cryotherapy in the treatment of ocular toxocar-iasis.
