I．緒言

　今日に於ける諸種抗生物質並びに副腎皮質ホルモン療法の広汎な普及は，確かに，感染症の予後を著しく改善した事は事実である。然し，之に伴い交代菌症の一つとして，真菌感染症が増加するに及び独り皮膚科領域のみならず，今や医真菌症が一般医学者の注目される所となつた。

　眼科の領域では，1879年，Leberが糸状菌による角膜炎の1例を世に紹介したのが最初であり，その後，多数の症例が報告されている。本邦では，明治42年愼の報告を以てはじめとし，今日迄，30例の角膜真菌症が報告されている。

A case of panophthalmitis secondary to cor-neal ulcer, from which a species of fungus Cephalosporium was isolated, is reported.

Mycological and animal examinations proved the causative organism to be Cephalosporium Corda. The infection could not be controlled by energic treatment with antimycotic agents and the eyeball had to be removed two weeks after admission of the patient.

The present therapeutic possibilities with antimycotics are discussed and the reasons for the contraindication of the customary an-tibiotics and corticosteroids in ocular mycoses are explained.
