末梢血液中に著明な好酸球増多症を伴なつた眼球突出の2症例

Two Cases of Exophthalmos with Marked Eosinophilia (Eosinophilic Granuloma of the Soft Tissue)

I．緒言

　我々は，眼球突出および顎下部腫脹と血液中に著明な好酸球増多を認め，顎下部および眼窩内組織について病理組織学的検索を行つた結果，軟部好酸球性肉芽腫と診断された興味ある2症例を経験したので，ここに報告する。

Two cases of exophthalmos with marked eosinophilia and swelling of submandibular re-gion were reported. X-ray examination of the skull and other bones revealed no abnormality. Histopathological studies on the soft tissue of the orbit and submandibular region revealed remarkable infiltration of eosinophils and lym-phocytes. Enlargement of germinal centers in the submandibular lymph node was prominent. From the histological findings it was diagnosed as eosinophilic granuloma of the soft tissues and seemed to correspond to so-called Kimura's disease, eosinophilic lymphoid granuloma or eosinophilic lymphadenitis.
