前房及び硝子体内コレステリン結晶析出の1例

A Case of Cholesterin Crystallization in the Anterior Chamber and the Vitreous Body.

I．緒言

　前房内にコレステリン結晶の析出をみた症例は，本邦では明治33年鬼木^{1）氏が報告して以来今日まで26例を数える。しかし前房及び硝子体内にその析出をみた報告は少ない。}

　私共もその1例に遭遇し，且つ前房及び硝子体穿刺を行なつて光輝ある浮遊物がコレステリン結晶である事を確認し，更に眼球の病理組織像を検索する機会を得たのでここに報告する。

A case with appearance of cholesterin cry-stals in the eyeball was studied clinically and pathohistologically. The patient was a 13-year-old boy who had complained of blindness and dust-like golden blightness in the left eye.

There was none of note in the past history except for his premature birth, and no syste-mic disorders were found. Ophthalmologically a large number of scincillant floaters of vari-ous sizes were found in the anterior chamber and the vitreous. Aspiration of floaters with paracenthesis was repeated in vain. The floa-ters were ascertained to be cholesterin cry-stals, chemically and microscopically.
