要約　正常人8例の片眼にラタノプロストを午後9時に1回点眼し，眼圧，眼灌流圧，視神経乳頭および黄斑部血流量を1，3，6時間後に測定した。他眼には同様の検査のみを行い，対照とした。血流量の測定にはレーザースペックルフローグラフィを用い，血流速度の相対値であるSBR値（square blur rate）を指標とした。点眼6時間後に眼圧は26％下降した。これは日内変動を超えた下降率であったが，眼灌流圧には影響しなかった。視神経乳頭と黄斑部の血流量には変化がなかった。正常眼へのラタノプロスト点眼には優れた眼圧下降作用があるが，視神経乳頭での血流には影響しないと結論される。

Abstract.　Eight healthy volunteers received a single latanoprost instillation in one eye at 9 o'clock in the evening. We measured the intraocular pressure（IOP）,ocular perfusion pressure,and blood flow in the optic nervehead and the macula 1,3 and 6 hours after instillation. The fellow eyes served as control. The ocular blood flow was measured using laser speckle flowgraphy. The square blur rate（SBR）served as index of blood flow velocity. The IOP decreased by 26％ 6 hours after instillation. This decrease was beyond the diurnal IOP fluctuation but did not affect the ocular perfusion pressure.There was no change in blood flow in the optic nervehead or the macula. The findings show that topical latanoprost induced hypotensive effect without affecting the blood flow in the optic nervehead.
