クリティークから統合への道すじ—低体温と創傷感染に関する研究論文のサブストラクションを通して

From Critique to Integration of Research: Using Substruction of the Research about the Relationship between Hypothermia and Surgical Wound Infection

　サブストラクションは，研究の理論的基盤と方法論の関連性・一貫性をクリティークするための一手法である。本論文において，腸の手術を受けた患者を対象とした，低体温と手術創感染に関するKurzらの研究（1996）をその例に用いて，サブストラクションに関する以下の3点について述べた。1）理論的システムと操作的システムの構成要素，2）理論的システムを支えるための根拠（統合），そして 3）哲学的背景について，である。サブストラクションを用いて研究論文をクリティークする場合の利点と限界も含めた。

　Substruction is a strategy to critique the linkage or consistency between the theory and methodology of research. Using Kurz, Sessler, & Lenhardt's research (1996) about the relationship between hypothermia and surgical wound infection among patients undergoing colorectal surgery, the following three issues were discussed in this paper: 1) Components of the theoretical and operational systems; 2) Evidence which supports the theoretical system of the research (integration); and 3) Philosophical background of substruction. Also, strengths and limitations of substruction were mentioned.
