神経鞘腫は，末梢と中枢の神経鞘を構成するSchwann細胞由来の良性腫瘍であり，好発部位は頭頸部，四肢であり，陰嚢内に発生することはまれである。今回我々は，陰嚢内腫瘍を切除し病理学的に神経鞘腫と診断された1例を経験したので報告する。

The patient was a 60’s-year-old man complaining left painless scrotal swelling. MRI showed an intrascrotal extratesticular mass with central low intensity and peripheral high intensity on T2WI and central enhancement on contrast-enhanced T1WI called as target sign. It was resected and diagnosed as intrascrotal schwannoma. Schwannoma in the scrotum is very rare, this case being only the twelfth case to be reported in Japan. We review the characteristic feature of intrascrotal schwannoma expressed target sign comparison with histopathological findings.
