孤立性線維性腫瘍（solitary fibrous tumor：SFT）はまれな線維性間葉系腫瘍で，好発部位は胸膜であるが，近年胸膜外孤立性線維性腫瘍の報告も多数認める。

We present a case of a 70s-year-old woman that SFT arising in the soft tissue of the right inguinal region. CT and MR imaging showed well-defined mass which contains multilocular cystic part and internal bulkhead. In the pathological findings, the tumor had spindle-like heterogeneous cells proliferating solidly, and hemangiopericytoma-like structures were observed. The tumor cells were positive for, CD34, bcl-2, vimentin and STAT6 on immunohistochemical staining and diagnosed as SFT.
