腫瘍性低リン血症性骨軟化症（tumor-induced hypophosphatemic osteomalacia：TIO）は，腫瘍から過剰に分泌される線維芽細胞増殖因子23（FGF-23）により，リン排泄の増加，1,25-水酸化ビタミンD産生低下を生じ，その結果慢性的な低リン血症と骨の石灰化障害を示す，まれな腫瘍随伴性障害である^1-3）。腫瘍は非常に小型であることが多く，体内のどこにでも存在しうる^1）2）4）ため，原因となる腫瘍を発見することは非常に困難である。原因腫瘍が発見できれば，責任腫瘍の切除により，低リン血症が改善し，それに伴い骨軟化症の症状も改善する。

Recent studies report that somatostatin receptor scintigraphy is useful for the detection of tumor localization in patients with Tumor-induced osteomalacia. In our case, it was difficult that differentiation with the abnormal accumulation of the tumor and the physiological accumulation of the head. In the case that accumulation was seen in the head, we should conduct SPECT/CT positively.
