上顎洞に発生した形質細胞肉芽腫の1例

A Case of Plasma Cell Granuloma of the Right Maxillary Sinus

I．緒言

　形質細胞肉芽腫plasma call granuloma（以下P．C．G．）はinflammatory pseudotumor^1）と考えられ真の腫瘍ではなく，その病理組織は興味あるところである　報告例としては肺^1）が多数を占め，その他副腎質^2），膀胱^3）胃^4,5），頭蓋内^6），甲状腺^7），扁桃腺^8）などに発生をみるが，今回われわれは上顎洞に発生した1例を経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

　Plasma cell granuloma is uncommon inflammatory lesion of unknown etiology mainly involving the lung. Extrapulmonary plasma cell granuloma is rare. We report a case of plasma cell granuloma of the right maxillary sinus.

　Histologically, nodular or diffuse infiltration of plasma cell containing many Russell bodies were observed in the fibrosis mucosal stroma. Other inflammatory cells, such as lymphocytes and histiocytes, were infrequent. In these plasma cells was found no appreciable cellular atypism.

　The immunohistochemical study demonstrated the polyclonal nature of the plasma cells.

　Therapy was performed by partial maxillectomy under general anesthesia after COP therapy.
