緒言

　形質細胞肉芽腫plasma cell granuloma　（PCG）は，非常に稀な疾患であり，これまで報告された症例の大部分は，肺あるいは上気道に発生したものである^1,7〜10）。呼吸器を除いては，いまだ胃^2,3），肝^4），甲状腺^5），後腹膜^6）に発生した数例の報告をみるのみである。今回われわれは副腎髄質に発生したPCGを経験したので，若干の文献的考察を加えて報告する。

A 49-year-old male was referred to us for detailed examination of right adrenal tumor. There were no endocrinological abnormalities in the laboratory examinations. The tumor, measuring 4.0×3.0×2.8 cm, weighing 40 g was removed through a transperitoneal median incision and the tumor was patho-logically diagnosed as plasma cell granuloma (PCG) of the adrenal medulla. PCG of the adrenal medulla has not, to our knowledge, been reported previously.
