I．はじめに

　多形性腺腫pleomorphic adenoma（いわゆる混合腫瘍）が鼻中隔に発生することは稀である。最近われわれは鼻中隔から発生したと考えられた多形性腺腫で，臨床所見と迅速組織診断とから悪性腫瘍を疑った1例を経験したので，文献的考察も加えここに報告する。

　A 48-year-old man complained of nasal obstruction and epistaxis. Malignant tumor was suspected because of its hemorrhagic rough surface and a swelling of hard palate. Extended Denker's operation was performed and a biopsy was taken from the tumor, and carcinoma was suspected by frozen sections. Arterial infusion and radiation was performed until it was finally diagnosed as pleomorphic adenoma. The tumor was thought to be originated from the nasal septum and invaded submucosally to the other side of the nasal cavity and hard palate.
