鼻中隔に発生した多形腺腫の1例

A case of pleomorphic adenoma of the nasal septum

はじめに

　多形腺腫は耳鼻咽喉科領域では大唾液腺，特に耳下腺に発生することが知られているが，鼻腔に発生することは稀である。鼻腔原発の多形腺腫は迷入した小唾液腺に由来するもので，再発率についても耳下腺発生に比べて低い。今回われわれは，鼻内内視鏡手術にて整容面を保ちながら根治切除できた鼻中隔原発多形腺腫を経験したので報告する。

　A pleomorphic adenoma（PA）often occurs to the major salivary glands, but rare in the nasal septum. A 56-year-old man noted to have a left nasal cavity tumor. He was referred to our hospital for operation. Preoperative histopathological examination suggested of PA. Computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging demonstrated a tumor located in the left nasal septum. The tumor was completely resected by endoscopic sinus surgery under general anesthesia. The final histopathological diagnosis was PA. There has been no remarkable recurrent signs postoperatively.
