I．はじめに

　Tullio現象は，音刺激によって前庭症状あるいは徴候が惹起される状態を言い，Tullio^1）が，その現象を報告して以来，いくつかの報告がなされている^2〜11），しかし，その知名度からすると，決して報告は多くなく，特に本邦では，内藤^2）の報告が見らねるの没である。また，これらの報告中に，音刺激によって惹起される眼球運動を電気眼振図（ENG）で他覚的にとらえた報告は，比較的稀である。今回，我々は，Tullio現象を呈した1症例を経験し，音刺激によって誘発された眼球運動を，ENGで記録したので，症例を提示し文献的考察を加え報告する。

　Tullio phenomenon in a 51-year-old male complained of transient vertigo by loud sound and tinnitus in the right ear is reported. The eye movements were recorded by electronystagmography and sound stimulation was presented. The spontaneous nystagmus was suppressed by a tone of 1 KHz, 70 dB presented to the right ear. By tones of 80 dB and 90 dB of 1 KHz presented to the right ear, the direction of the spontaneous nystagmus was changed for a few seconds after the sound stimulation was started. The cause of Tullio phenomenon was discussed.
