濾胞性歯牙嚢胞の感染による下顎骨髄炎と耳下腺炎の1症例

A Case of Osteomyelitis of the Jaw and Parotitis Caused by Infection of a Follicular Dental Cyst

　I．はじめに

　埋伏歯は，下顎第3大臼歯（智歯）に最も，多く，下顎智歯が下顎骨の中に埋伏することはよくあるが，下顎切痕部下方に埋伏する例は，非常に稀である。今回我々は，下顎智歯が逆生位で左側下顎切痕部下方に埋伏し，その濾胞性歯芽嚢胞が感染を起こし，下顎骨髄炎，耳下腺炎を併発し，皮膚直下にまで膿瘍を形成するに及んだ1症例を経験したので，稀な症例と考え，報告する。

　We reported a case of osteomyelitis of the jaw and parotitis caused by infection of a follicular dental cyst of the inverted and impacted third molar removed surgically by external approach. The present case was thought as rare, because of the unusual location of the tooth and of extensive involvement of the surrounding tissues.
