Tullio現象をきたした1例

Tullio Phenomenon: Report of a Case

I．はじめに

　騒音によりめまいをもたらすというTullio現象はまれで，国内はもとより国外でもその報告はあまりない。感音難聴，あるいはメニエール病，中耳外傷などに伴って発症した報告は認められる。今回われわれは他に耳疾患を認めないのにTullio現象をきたした1例につき，音響刺激と眼振反応をみて若干の知見を得たので報告し，文献的考察を加えた。

　Tullio phenomenon in a 28-year-old male with normal hearing complained of transient vertigo induced by a loud sound in the right ear is reported. The eye movements were recorded onelectronystagmograph after the sound stimulation was presented. The nystagmus was evoked by tones of 1 kHz, 80dB and louder sounds to the ipsilateral side of the sound stimulation.

　After the sound stimulation, the direction of nystagmus was changed to the contralateral side. By tones of 2 kHz and 3 kHz the same nystagmus was evoked.

　The cause of Tullio phenomenon and the findings of nystagmus were discussed.
