　I．はじめに

　前頭洞ムコツェーレは本邦においては稀な疾患ではないが，最近，われわれは両側の前頭洞にわたつて広範囲に脳硬膜が露出していた症例を経験した。このように広範囲に脳硬膜が露出している症例は内外の文献をみても稀と思われるので報告する。

　A case of bilateral mucocele of the frontal sinus is reported.

　A man, aged 42, complained of bilateral exophthalmos and swelling of the forehead which began to be noticeable since 3 years ago. Examination of the eyes and the nose showed no other pathological changes.

　Recently the exophthalmos of right eye began to be more noticeable and the patient consulted an ophthalmologist who suspecting nasal involvement referred the patient to the authors.

　The frontal sinus was opened by Killian's method and with added endonasal approach. The operation revealed the walls of the frontal sinus destroyed by the presence of the cyst and the dural surface to be exposed. The authors contend that such an exposure of the dura is quite rate indeed.
