前頭洞骨腫手術後の骨欠損部に対する架橋Dimethyl Polysiloxan（D. M. P. S. ）による形成例

PLASTIC CORRECTION OF THE OPERATIVE DEPRESSION OF THE FRONTAL BONE BY MEANS OF DIMETHYL POLYSILOXAN PROSTHESIS

　I．はじめに

　従来，前頭骨欠損部の形成には，自家組織の移植が一般的に行なわれているが，われわれは前頭洞骨腫術後の骨欠損に対して合成高分子の人工材料を用いることにより満足すべき成績を得たので報告する。

　A surgical removal of an osteoma of the frontal sinus left a large depression in the forehead of a man, aged 41.

　Correction of this deformity was attempted by means of plastic operation using a prosthesis composed of dimethyl polysilloxan which was premodelled to fit the depression. The results were satisfactory.
