　I．はじめに

　唾石症は日常よく経験される疾患であるが，最近，臨床症状，部位からみて顎下腺唾石症にきわめて酷似した経過をとり，手術の結果左顎下腺に隣接した海綿状血管腫に併発した静脈石であることがわかつた症例を経験したので報告する。

　A man, aged 26, complained of diffuse, painless submandibular tumor on the left side, which was developed in the period of 12 or 13 years. This tumor, quite often, became aggravated during meals but, there was a similar swelling, at other times, on the right side also.

　Sialographic examination showed the right-sided swelling to be the result of lithiasis of the submandibular duct but the left side was negative for the presence of stone.

　The tumor in the left submandibular region was removed surgically and the microscopic examination revealed a phlebolithiasis which apparently originated on the basis of cavernous haemangioma.
