壊疽性鼻炎の像を呈せる鼻腔癌腫症例

　緒言

　今日注目されている所謂壊疽性鼻炎はその悪性度から見て，悪性腫瘍に勝るともおとらぬものであつて，欧米始め本邦において相当数多くの症例が報告されている。然し乍らその本態に関しては未だ不明であつて，それが慢性炎症性疾患であるか，悪性腫瘍の基礎の上に壊疽が進展するものか亦二次的に悪性転化するものか，種々論議され，診断治療に悩まされ予後不良とされている。

　余等は鼻翼に原発したと思われる壊疽竈が進行し鼻根部，鼻中隔及び硬口蓋に波及した所謂壊疽性鼻炎の像を呈して1年7ヶ月の間各種療法を施し経過を観察し病変の進行が一応阻止せられた瘢痕性治癒と潰瘍の拡大悪化が反復して，一進一退の症状を呈したもので，組織学的検査で診断が確定した鼻腔癌腫の興味ある症例を得たのでその経過の大要を報告し，併せて御批判御教示を仰ぐ次第である。

Nasal lesion in a man, aged 75, by micros-copic examination proved to be an epithelioma but, clinically it showed a picture in all signs that of so-called necrotic rhinitis with abun-dant growth of proteus vulgaris recovered from its secretion. Repeated ulceration and healing with scar tissue formation occurred but the lesions at the present writing may be considered as healed following 19 months of treatment by various therapeutic means such as irradiations with CO₆₀ and X-ray and the use of antibiotic carcinophyllin: especially the use of CO₆₀ and carcinophyllin appeared to be effective toward this case.
