中耳癌腫症例

　緒言

　聴器に於ける癌腫は比較的稀有のものとされている。Begoldは耳疾2万例中悪性腫瘍4例（0.02％）を見出し，九大耳科25年間中13970耳疾中聴器癌腫は10例で耳疾患の0.14％（福良）である。京大耳科40年間の1560例の悪性腫瘍の症例中聴器悪性腫瘍は13例である。これらの内，外耳殊に耳翼の皮膚癌は最も多く且診断も容易である。外耳道に来るものは腺癌の形で来るものが主で，中耳や側頭骨を発生するものは少い。私は慢性化膿性中耳炎の急性悪化症の手術後約1ヵ月で再発し，再手術後の組織検査により癌腫を発見したので其の例を報告する次第である。

Wakamatsu reports a case of carcinoma of the middle ear cavity which simulated an acute exacerbation of chronic purulent otitis media. The patient, a woman aged 56, was operated upon for the later condition but one month later there was a recurrence of the same condition that required a re-operation. Microscopic examination of tissues at the second operation revealed epithelioma.
