緒言
1855年Mc. Brideが乾酪性副鼻腔炎に就いて報告して以来Escat，Roepke，Stieda，Uffenorde，Haag等の記載を見，本邦に於いても結城，久保居合氏等の報告があり，稀有疾患ではないが，私は最近三叉神経痛を主訴とせる乾酪性上顎洞炎の1例を得たので報告する。
Ichihara reports a case of maxillary sinusitis characterized by dry mucous membrane. The patient, a woman aged 53, complained of pain in the right cheek and toothache. Further investigation of this patient showed that the pain of which she suffered to be deriving from the state of partial vacuum created by occlusion of the sinus ostium with a concommitant onset of trigeminal neuralgia.
