顏面に穿孔せる乾酪性上顎洞炎

　緒言

　乾酪性上顎洞炎は1895年Mac. Bride及1900年Avellisが報告してから本邦に於ても多数報告されてゐるのであるが多くは一側に発生して居り両側に同時に來り而かも顏面に穿孔して居る症例は稀である．我々は最近顏面に穿孔した両側乾酷性上顎洞炎の1例を得たので報告する．

　Ohkusa and Umemura report a woman 35 years old who, 11 years previously had been treated by radical sinus operation, complained of toothache, swelling of cheeke and, impaired nasal breathing, the aggregate of which suggested paranasal sinus carcinoma. Examination reveald caseous inflammation of maxillary sinus of both sides which was connectto the respective caninie fossa by a fistula. Recovery of the patient was uneventful after surgical operation and removal of the caseous material from the sinuses.
