- Abstract 文献概要
上顎洞に異物が入つた場合洞粘膜の刺戟によつて急性上顎洞炎を惹起し，異物が除去されない時更に炎症が慢性化する事は成書にも記載され，決して稀ではないのであるが，私が最近経験した2例は共に上顎洞開放術に際して綿花が異物として発見され，その成因から日常の診療上反省すべき点を感じたので茲に追加報告する。
Kawakami reports two cases of maxillary sinusitis that orginated from presence of foreign body in the sinus cavity. In one case a small cotton pledget of the applicator became lost in the nasal cavity and at the antrum this piece of cotton was apparently forced into the sinus cavity. In the other case a cotton tampon placed in the socket of an extracted tooth obviously worked itself into the sinus cavity.
