副鼻腔血瘤腫症例

　緒言

　鼻腔並に副鼻腔に発生する良性腫瘍であつて，一見惡性腫瘍に類似せる臨床症状を呈する所謂血瘤腫なる腫瘍の存在するは既に廣く識らるゝ所なるも，其の本態並に成因に関しては今日尚諸説の一致を見ていない．余は最近47歳の婦人の鼻腔内腫瘍にして惡性腫瘍を思わしめたる症例に遭遇し，その手術並に組織学的檢索により血瘤腫なるを明にせる1例を得たので茲に追加報告せんとす．

Tsujiguchi reports that the cause for comple-tely obstructed nasal breathing in a patient was due to the presence of hematoma. A woman, 47 years of age, who for 30 years was bothered more or less with obstruction in posterior part of left nare, sought relief when nasal breathing became completely shut off since 8 months ago. Examination revealed a tumor which had its ori-gin from the left inferior turbinate and occupied not only the nasal cavity, but which was also, extended into the left maxillary sinus as well as into orbital fossa pressing upon the contents laterally and upon the ethmoidal cells superiorly. In dimensions the tumor measured 8.5 cm × 5.5 cm × 4 cm. Microscopically it was a hematoma. Denker's method of opeation effected its remo-val; and the patient recovered.
