緒言

　従来より，原発性前立腺移行上皮癌は，診断困難で予後不良の疾患とされている。

　最近，われわれは，尿路各部位の尿細胞診を繰り返し施行し，経会陰式前立腺針生検，経尿道的前立腺生検により，原発性前立腺移行上皮癌と診断され，根治手術を行つた症例を経験したので報告する。

A fifty-four year-old male presented to our O.P.D. with intermittent grosshematuria. Three months before, he underwent transurethral biopsy of the bladder at another hospital under the clinical impression of bladder tumor, however, the pathology showed no significant findings. Urine cytology demonstrated cluster of atipical cell compatible with class IV to V. Excretory urogram showed moderate left hydro-nephrosis and ipsilateral ureteral obstruction at its lower segment. Endoscopic examination revealed no apparent abnormal findings of the bladder and posterior urethra except for the edematous change of the left hemitrigonum.
