緒言

　カウパー腺嚢腫は比較的稀な疾患でその報告例も少ない。今回われわれはカウパー腺嚢腫の1例を経験し，手術的療法にて満足すべき結果が得られたので文献的考察も含めて報告する。

A 45-year-old man complained of perineal pain and discomfort after coitus. Rectal examination revealed a normal prostate and a non-tender mass palpable distal to the prostate. Retrograde and voi-ding cystourethrographies revealed a cystic lesion located at the level of membraneous urethra sugges-ting the cyst of Cowper's gland. Three years later he developed slow urinary flow with 150 ml of residual urine and underwent excisional operation for the cyst. Postoperatively, his urinary complaint and residual urine improved.
