緒言

　上皮小体機能亢進症を示す2例で手術的に上皮小体腫瘤を摘出したところ，腺腫の嚢腫化したものであり，　1例では全体が嚢腫化し1例では腺腫の一部に嚢腫が存在した。上皮小体嚢腫にはまつたく機能亢進の所見を示さぬものがあり，発生および病態も腺腫の嚢腫化したものとは異なると言われている。この点について文献的考察を行つた。

Two cases of parathyroid cyst were experienced. Both cases presented symptoms of hyperparathyroi-dism and were bone and urolithiasis type respectively. Microscopically, one had thick fibrous wall con-taining parathyroid adenomatous tissue in the inner surface and the other showed cyst formation in the parathyroid adenoma

Many of the parathyroid cysts are nonfunctioning and different in the etiology and pathophysiology from those of hyperfunctioning. The differences in these two types of parathyroid cysts were discussed.
