緒言

　盲管重複尿管（Blind-ending bifid ureter）の本邦例は1929年高橋ら^1）の尿管憩室としての報告に始まるが，1947年Culpら^2）の定義が提唱されてからは盲管重複尿管（Blind-ending bifid ureter）という診断名が一般に使用されるようになつた。最近われわれも同側に尿管結石を合併した盲管重複尿管の1例を経験したので若干の文献的考察を加え報告する。

A 31-year-old man was admitted to Yokohama Municipal Citizens Hospital with a chief complaint of right flank colicky pain. Excretory urography showed a small stone in the right lower ureter and a blind ending ureter branched from the middle portion of the right ureter.

The basket catheter was used for the extraction of the ureteral stone and the stone was removed successfully. Through lumbar oblique incision the blind ending ureter was resected. The blind ending ureter ran cephlad and laterally, turned back at the lower pole of the right kidney and ended near the point of the duplication.
