  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

The first case, a 59-year-old woman who had a history of right ureteral stones 15 years ago was seen with an abrupt onset of right flank pain. Urography revealed extravasation of contrast media around the upper portion of the right ureter which was interpreted as spontaneous rupture without stone. Severe inflammatory damage of the affected site of ureter resulted subsequent nephrectomy. The second case, a 34-year-old man was seen with a complaint of the sudden onset of left flank pain. Urography revealed a small stone at the P-U junction and extravasation of contrast media around the site.
