緒言

　重複尿管は，上部尿路奇形の中でも発生頻度の高い奇形の一つであるが，そのうち，一方の尿管が盲端として終わる盲管重複尿管は，極めて稀なものである。また，本症は尿管憩室とその異同が問題となり，臨床的に論議の多い疾患である。

　最近，われわれは本症の1例を経験したので報告するとともに，本邦症例を集計し，臨床統計的考察を加えた。

A 29-year-old house wife had been treated in our hospital under diagnosis of acute cystitis. And in order to clarify the cause of grosshematuria, urological investigation was recommended. In excretory urography, incomplete duplication of right ureter was suspected, and in retrograde pyerography, right blind-ending branch of bifid ureter was clearly shown.

We collected forty-six cases of blind-ending bifid ureter including our case in Japan, and discussed the difference between blind-ending bifid ureter and ureteral diverticulum.
