緒言
褐色細胞腫と甲状腺癌の合併例は1931年，Eisen-bergら1）が報告したのが最初であるが，両者の合併頻度の極めて高いことが1961年，Sipple2）により指摘され，その後，Sipple症候群と呼ばれている。一方，Steinerら3）は1968年，家族性の本症候群（時に副甲状腺の過形成または腺腫を合併する）を，下垂体，副甲状腺，膵ラ氏島の腫瘍を合併したmultiple endocline neoplasia,type 1（MEN，type 1）に対しMEN,type 2と呼んだ。われわれは今回，いわゆるSipple症候群またはMEN，type 2に相当する症例を経験したので，ここに報告する。
A-39-year old male was admitted to our hospital with chief complaints of headache, dizziness and excess sweating.
Patient had thyroidectomy, for medullary carcinoma of the thyroid, three years ago.
Endocrine examination such as urinary and serum catecholamine were suggestive of pheochromocytoma. Retrograde pyelogram associated with retroperitoneal pneumogram revealed bilateral pheochromocytoma.
On Nov. 9. 1977. the abdomen was opened through a high anterior transverse incision. Bilateral adenomas were found and successfully removed.
