緒言

　膀胱腫瘍の大部分は上皮性腫瘍である。一方，非上皮性腫瘍は非常に少なく，かつ半数以上は肉腫である。このように非常に稀な非上皮性良性膀胱腫瘍の一種である膀胱平滑筋腫を1例経験したので報告する。

A 63 year-old male with leiomyoma of the bladder had nocturia, small urinary stream and feeling of residual urine. He was operated by TUR, of the submucosal bladder tumor at the anterior wall and hypertrophied prostate (78g). After three months of the operation he was again operated with the urethrotomy under direct vision for the urethral stenosis and the TUR of the residual bladder tumor. The bladder tumor was resected in the first TUR, the residual tumor was 50g resected in the second TUR. The TUR biopsy should be considered for the differential diagnosis and the treatment of the bladder tumor.
