  • Look Inside

Patients were two females complaining of fever and lumbago, and one asymptomatic male. Uretero-lithotomies were performed in all cases, and renal functions became improved in 2 cases, but unchanged in one case after the operation.

The size of removed stones was 14.0×1.7×1.7cm, 4.5×1.0×0.7cm and 4.0×1.0×0.8cm, and the weight was 28.0g, 1.8g and 1.8g. Analysis of stones revealed calcium oxalate, calcium phosphate, and magnesium ammonium phosphate in all cases.

The Japanese literatures of giant ureteral stone were reviewed.
