緒言

　Double pigtail urcteral stent（DPUS, Vance　Products Inc．Spencer, Indiana, U．S．A．）は，既に米国では商品化され，使用経験に関する報告もいくつかみられるが^1〜3），著者らは過日尿管に留置するカテーテルとしてGibbons stentを紹介したが^4），今回はDPUSの使用経験について述べ，両stent紹介のまとめとしたい。

　DPUSの部品の紹介および手技は他誌^2）を参照されたい。

Experiences with double pigtail ureteral stent (DPUS) were reported comparing Gibbons stent.

Technique of insertion of DPUS was much easier than Gibbons stent since former avoided barblike projections and flange which are important devices of Gibbons stent to prevent stent migration. Neverthe-less, DPUS were well fixed in ureter and we did not experience migration of DPUS, while we experi-enced two cases of proximal migration and one case of distal migration of Gibbons stent.

Indicaton of DPUS were same as Gibbons stent and mainly as follows.
