緒言

　盲管重複尿管（Blind ending bifid ureter）は尿管奇型の中で非常に稀な疾患であり，本邦では1929年高橋^1，2）の尿管憩室としての報告が最初である。著者らは9年来の再発性腎盂腎炎の患者の精査中VUR検査により盲管重複尿管を認め，治療した1例を報告し，併せて尿管憩室を含め本邦43例を集計し統計的考察を行なつた。

A 34-year-old house wife was admitted to our hospital for recurrent pyelonephritis which she had for the past 9 years. By cystogram, V.U.R. clearly showed a right blind ending bifid ureter and a pyelogram of chronic pyelonephritis. This case being intravesical type with the bifid site located just above the right orfice, visualization of the blind ending bifid ureter was not by I.V.P. but V.U.R. by cystography. The right kidney showing marked pyelonephritic atrophy, a right nephroureterectomy was performed. The size of the blind ending bifid ureter was 7×0.7cm.
