　はじめに

　唾石症は臨床の場でしばしば遭遇する疾患であるが，顎下腺に好発し耳下腺には少ないといわれている^1〜16）。今回われわれは，耳下腺唾石症を2例経験し，耳前部S字状切開により唾石の摘出を行い良好な結果を得た。治療方法を中心に若干の文献的考察を加え報告し，今後の診療の一助としたい。

Sialolith usualy occurs in the submandibular gland and its occurrence in the parotid gland is relatively rare. In this paper, two cases of sialolith-iasis in the parotid gland were reported. The surgi-cal operation was performed with the sigmoid skin incision approach in the preauricular area. This approaching method offered an excellent exposure and we achieved the complete removal of sialoliths. The postoperative scar was not prominent and no complication was recognized in our cases. We believe this approach is a sure and safe method for the extirpation of the parotid sialoliths.
